.::Me::.

A 6`1" 205 lbs of "Goodness". I am athletically built with an athletic lifestyle. I am a 28 year old, self-employed, freelance network consultant. I do security on the side every now and then, depending on how the market is looking for freelance consultants. Any descriptions, ideals, or any information concerning the person that I am and things pertaining to the ephemeral will have to be discovered for yourself. I find myself too dynamic and unpredictable to be properly defined in these pages. This I believe is the case with everyone to a degree. Our ways are too changing. Some change depending on their surroundings, others it would seem depend on the accompaniment of the people about themselves. Any yet all of us do both.

Daddy`s First Photo

I am enjoying fatherhood. My daughter is a continued joy and source of strength for me. I can see how people can get carried away with having many kids.

(I was partying like it was 1999!)
I don`t take care of myself well when my daughter is not with me. This holiday I punished my body and mind. All in the pursuit of fun. No more "fun" for me. Honest! I mean it this time!

.::My Yesterdays::.

I remember everything that happened this day as if it was yesterday. It snowed heavy that day (December 17, 1999), I had only had three hours sleep, the day was bright and "sharp" like a High-Definition television picture. I was so alert but I think it was my giddy excitement while I rushed through traffic to makeit to the hospital in time. After I had made it to the hospital, my daughter was born twenty minutes later (Close!). I still remember how I felt in the delivery room. It was very interesting because I was not prepared for what was to happen next. I had no fear ofbeinga daddy because it was abstract to me. Meaning, it was like a new job doing something you hadn`t done before and you are about to start OJT (On Job Training). When my daughter`s head came peeking out, I was like "Man, Glad that isn`t me giving birth! Then she opened her eyes and looked directly at me...It seemed like we were the only two on earth. She looking at me and I looking at her. I felt a connection. Like we were linked. Always linked. I felt a strong strong powerful feeling come over me. I think it was love. I had never felt an emotion that powerful before. I now wished I could have switched places with her mother. A woman truly is privileged and blessed. I was finally becoming aware of others in the room, I think the nurse or doctor were trying to talk or say something to me but I didn`t hear a word of this. I commented on how that my daughter knows who her daddy is because she hadn`t taken her eyes off me since she opened them. They assured me that she couldn`t see me, but I contested and thought I should test their supposition to be certain. So I proceeded to hop to the left a few times, and then the same in the other direction. My daughter`s eyes never left me. The doctorand nurses gasped and chuckled with amazement. I felt proud like I was ten feet tall. I was thinking, "Yes, this child is definitely going to be something else!" This may not be something extraordinary for most but I am a proud father and all my daughter`s accomplishments are big with me... My daughter knows how to tie her own shoes!! Her writing is pretty advanced. I haven`t taught her the whole alphabet but I think she will be attending a gifted school soon. *Sigh*
